RadioMaster TX15 / TX16S MK3 - Memory Configuration Adjustment

Follow-up (04_24_2026)
We’ve now fully transitioned from 4GB to 512MB internal flash on the TX15 and TX16S MK3.
All orders up to today are covered with 4GB. From this point forward, all units are 512MB.
No changes to performance or functionality — 512MB remains more than sufficient for normal use, and both radios continue to support external SD cards.
Thanks for your understanding.

Due to ongoing global flash memory supply issues, a hardware adjustment is required to maintain consistent production and availability of the TX15 and TX16S MK3.

Unfortunately, 512MB flash chips now cost more than 4GB chips did just a few months ago. The greater issue, however, is that there is currently no guaranteed supply of the 4GB chips, which means production could stop at any time.

After careful consideration, we have decided to switch to a 512MB chip due to its stable supply. We will absorb the additional cost to avoid increasing the retail price of the TX15 and TX16S MK3.

What's Changing:

  • 4GB inventory is now in limited supply, both on our official website and across our dealer network. When the 4GB stock runs out, an announcement will follow, and our website details will be updated to show the 512MB version in stock.
  • Orders placed before the announcement will ship with 4GB flash, including all TX16S MK3 pre-orders.
  • No price increase — additional costs are being absorbed by RadioMaster

This change ensures a stable supply and avoids production delays, and is necessary given current supply chain conditions.

The updated 512MB internal flash remains sufficient for normal operation, including model storage, firmware updates, and all core functions. There is no impact on flight performance. Both radios also support external SD cards for applications requiring additional storage.

We apologize for this unforeseen issue and believe we have made the best choice we could in this situation, and thank you for your understanding.
